This Edison 2-minute cylinder was recorded just after the Mexican Revolution, probably around 1910. It's an endearing folk song, performed in much the same way that it might still be performed
in the rural areas of Mexico (though not necessarily in the thoroughly touristy urban areas). It's a pleasant window on history, and not in bad shape for the vintage.
