This was the last side that this psuedo-legendary shadow group would record for Edison Labs, waxed on January 31 of 1924, and though it was not as gritty as some of their earlier masterpieces it was worthy of their repertoir
with its spritely tempo. The infectious tune was written by Willie Raskin (co-author of "I Found a Rose in the Devil's Garden" and "Steamboat Sal"), Harry D. Squires (co-wrote "Georgia Cabin Door" and "Why Blame It All on Me"),
and Eleanor Young (wrote many songs with Harry Squires including "Carolina Rolling Stone" and "Let Us Say Goodbye with a Waltz"). The plunger work with the trumpet toward the end is the highlight of the piece. The disc had
been played a few times in its life, probably on a non-Edison machine, but thankfully it wasn't too badly worn to yield a good sample.
