Arthur Collins announced this Columbia cylinder, recorded around 1904, but the orchestra came in before he could say the name of the company. Other than that, the program proceeds as normal. Joe Howard, author of "I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now",
wrote this entertaining song, and the performance by C&H is rollicking and good-natured as any of their waxings. The recording itself suffers a little from imperfections in the cylinder, but the recorded surface does not prove a significant
distraction. (Note: considering that a dollar could get a decent meal at a restaurant in those days, a dime was a lot to ask for a phone call, especially considering the quality of service!)
