"He-Men Chew Tobacco"

by Jim and Walt

I have not been able to find out anything about these two radio pioneers, only that they made this one record for Gennett (this sample is from the Champion issue) on April 22 of 1930 and that was it. The song is a kick, very light-hearted and fun, and the harmony is tight. As always, knowledgeable emails are appreciated about who these guys were. The record had been played but not to death, thankfully, so some light noise reduction cleaned it up nicely.
